"My Birth Journey"

What make it different?
A personalised antenatal journey that blends evidence-based information with holistic tools — focusing only on what’s truly relevant to you and your partner, so you feel informed, connected, and confident for birth.
Empowerment
Connection
Trust
Presence
From my own journey as a pregnant person — and years walking alongside families, I’ve seen four main challenges that almost every parent-to-be faces:
Information overload
Pregnancy can feel like a flood of advice, books, appointments, and “must-do” lists. Instead of feeling confident, many end up overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or worried they’re missing something important.
Decisions shaped by others, not by you
Most birth choices are made without real reflection — influenced by friends, family, social media, or cultural norms. We rarely pause to ask: What do I actually want? Why does this feel right (or wrong) for me? This can lead to regret, fear, or a sense of being out of control.
Partners left out of the experience
Partners sometimes feel excluded — or are excluded — from the process. They miss the chance to fully experience this transformation, to connect deeply with each other before the baby arrives, and to start shaping the kind of family they want to be.
Life Doesn’t Slow Down
In the middle of work, appointments, and everyday demands, many parents-to-be struggle to find the space and tools to pause, slow down, and truly connect with themselves, their partner, and their baby before birth.

“I can highly recommend Flavia!! Her sessions were amazing and left my husband and I feeling incredibly empowered and calm about the birth of our first baby. We then had a home birth and thanks to her I didn't feel afraid, knew that my body was capable of birth, and actually felt excited about going into labour (I had many fears initially).
She is also a very kind, caring and supportive person. Very knowledgeable about all things pregnancy, labour and birth too."
— First-time Mum, Waiheke Island
“I wasn't sure what to expect going into the session. It's me and my partners first time being pregnant
and we spent some months apart early on in the pregnancy. So going to Flavia's session was the first time we properly connected together about our baby. It was really good to get out of my head and write or draw all the things that were bubbling up inside of me. Flavia made the space feel really safe
and enabled us to speak freely about our fears, she has also given us some tools to use throughout the rest of the pregnancy when strong emotions come up. I would highly recommend sessions with Flavia for anyone wanting to explore and untangle some of the emotions pregnancy brings up.”
